I am a serial entrepreneur, a caregiver, an athlete, a tour guide, and a big picture thinker.
I am driven to create new products. This is my 8th product or service. One other service was wildly successful. I used to be a WebObjects recruiter during the .com boom. I am getting better at releasing new products, and the internet is making it easier to create the products, and to reach my customers.
I like to take care of people. The happiest time in my life was when I was my older daughter's primary caregiver. More recently I have been managing my mother's life. I spent the better part of two years at my brother's bedside after he had a bicycle accident and brain injury. I have learned so much about health in the process. The knowledge gained has been tremendous for managing my own health.
I love to travel. I have been to 20 countries. I speak English, French, Polish, Spanish, and Japanese. My spirit yearns to be free. Sadly, because of my brother and mother, I am stuck in Los Angeles. So the best I can do is to meet people from far away places. I make a great tour guide. So if you are coming to California, specifically if you are visiting Los Angeles, let me show you around. Send me an email. I can take you to Venice Beach (Watch the People); Santa Monica Pier (try out the Ferris Wheel) and Promenade (Sunday night Beatles revival Band); Hollywood ("How i got to Hollywood" Yellow Brick Road) Griffith Part (Observatory). Further afield I highly recommend Yosemite, King's Canyon, Big Sur, and downtown San Diego.
I enjoy walking. As I get older, the key to staying vibrant is aerobic exercise. So I walk up the Griffith Park hill everyday. And I have an exercise bicycle in front of the TV. It works great. The reason I created this keyboard is because I wanted to be able to send emails while walking.
I am very interested in what is going on in the world. Both in terms of global events, and in the evolution of technology. I try to keep my eyes on what is going on, so that I can know which direction to go. We saw the financial crisis coming, and sold our houses before it hit. Cell phones were the hot market, and now I am shipping a cell phone product. I read reddit.com avidly each day for a diverse supply of knowlege. And I put all the pieces together in my mind for a clear picture. I am really an abstract thinker, some would even say a dreamer.
I make my dreams into reality. I had a dream of typing while walking around. And now you can share in my dream.
